Today is the 32nd Sunday in Ordinary Time.
We celebrate the Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe on Sunday 24th November. There will be adoration in the church immediately after the 11:00 am mass. Your area leaders will update you with the schedule of the adoration. Thereafter we will have a procession starting at Mother Theresa Chowk (next to Sacred Heart Town) at around 4:30 pm to Kroot Memorial School. We will be celebrating a solemn high mass at 6:00 pm. Kindly note that there will be NO 6:00 pm MASS in the Cathedral on that Day.
BCC Meetings:
St. Paul's Community: BCC meeting on Wednesday 13th Nov, at 06:30 pm at the residence of Mrs. Dorothy Fernandes, Flat No.E-203, Dayanand Gardens, Wanowrie.
St. Dominic Savio Community: BCC meeting on Saturday 16th Nov’24 at 7.00 pm at the Tatya Tope Society garden.
There is an Altar Servers Rally scheduled on Saturday, 16th Nov at St. Anthony’s Church, Shivajinagar from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Parents encourage your children.
The members of the SSVP have distributed envelopes and handbills to collect funds to be used for Charity. If you have not collected an envelope please collect it and donate generously towards the help rendered to the poor and needy of our Parish. You may hand over the envelopes to the SVP members and collect a receipt for the same.
This is a reminder about the important duty of voting. You are earnestly urged to vote at the upcoming elections to the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly which is on 20th Nov. Every vote counts! We urge all citizens to exercise their sacred duty to vote wisely so that we elect leaders who are committed to constitutional values, the true development of all and the uplift of the poor.
HOPE group under the leadership of Fr. Ashok Ohol is organising a “Know Your Candidate Session” by making a PPT presentation on November 17, Sunday at 10:30 am in the Parish hall. We request you all to attend this session in large numbers.
Distribution of voting slips will also be initiated on the same day I.e. Nov 17 from 8 am onwards at the Parish hall. Please keep your E-PIC no. handy which is printed on your voter’s id Or carry your voter id card. For further details, please refer to the Church Notice board.
